There were some predictable results today. For example, Regan Smith was picked to win by 171 entries. The US women’s 4×100 medley relay was picked to win by 168 entries as well.

Some events were not as predictable. Only 29 entries picked Ruta Meilutyte to win the women’s 50 breast, despite being the World Record holder. The men’s 4×100 medley relay was also a miss as only nine entries picked Neutral Athletes B to win the event. The relay did so in a new World Record as well.
