2024 Summer Swimming Pick ‘Em Day 2: Martinenghi Surprises, Marchand Fulfills Prophecy

Daily Results: Day 1

Even as Leon Marchand won the 400 IM in meet record fashion, the podiums for this session were unpredictable. There were only four perfect predictions total across all three events, compared to over 100 in multiple events on day 1. Only one player picked Nicolo Martinenghito win the men’s 100 breast: congratulations to granny15 for your powers of prophecy!

We have a four-way tie for the daily winners today between Paris Match, TheJudga, SaintNick510, and Brando26 who all picked up 61 points.

Pau Hana, who was in a six-way tie for 8th after day 1, jumps into the lead with a strong 57 point showing.

Due to the tie for silver in the men’s 100 breast, there is a touch of score inflation as if you picked Adam Peaty or Nic Fink for 2nd or 3rd, we awarded you the points for that position.
