VOTE FOR PHELPS, FRANKLIN FOR ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

Michael Phelps and Missy Franklin have been nominated for the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Male and Female Athlete of the Month Awards, and for the U.S. Sports Academy’s August Athlete of the Month. Franklin and American Paralympic swimmer Jessica Long have also been selected as finalists for the Women’s Sports Foundation’s 2012 Sportswoman of the Year.
