Missy Franklin, 17, tweeted out a picture of her new Olympic rings tattoo on Thursday night, joining fellow teenage Olympian Rachel Bootsma, 18, who chose to get inked on her ribs the day before. In her tweet, Franklin did refer to the tattoo as her “one and only,” but her decision may still surprise some considering her age and her generally innocent demeanor. Nonetheless, tradition is tradition, letting the rest of us wonder if the remaining two teenage stars — Katie Ledecky and Lia Neal — will follow suit.
